Privacy Policy

This policy explains how SOCIETY.SKINAU ("we", "us", "our") handles personal information collected through this website before opening. It covers the founding-list signup, the emails that follow it, and the website services described below.

When you join the founding list, we collect your email address and, if you choose to give it, your first name. We also record the date and time you joined.

Like most websites, the services that deliver this site receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details when you visit.

Your details are used to:

• Send you a welcome email when you join;
• Notify us that you have joined;
• Send launch and membership updates as opening approaches.

Joining the list registers your interest only. It does not secure membership or guarantee appointments, and no payment is involved. We do not sell your details.

We use the following services to run this website and the founding list:

• Lovable — hosts the website, stores the founding list in a database located in Singapore, and sends our emails;
• Google (Gmail) — receives a notification containing your email address and first name when you join;
• Cloudflare — delivers the website and protects it from automated abuse.

Some of these services process information outside Australia, including in Singapore and the United States, and may use other locations we have not been able to confirm.

If you request an AI reflection, the general preferences you enter are sent through Lovable AI Gateway to OpenAI to generate a response. Please do not include symptoms, medical conditions, medicines, treatment histories, names or contact details. This is not a clinical assessment or medical advice.

The website does not save your reflection text in the founding list or email it to the clinic. The AI services may retain request and response information in service logs. We have not confirmed all processing locations or retention periods; we do not promise complete deletion from those systems. Closing the reflection clears its text from the page, but does not delete service records. You can contact us about any information you shared.

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Our website delivery provider, Cloudflare, may set a short-lived security cookie to help distinguish people from automated traffic.

Clicks on our social media icons are counted in aggregate by platform and day, without storing who clicked. Where your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, the click is not counted. Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn apply their own privacy policies once you follow a link to them.

Every email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops further founding-list emails. It does not by itself delete your signup details; to have them removed, see below. To honour your choice, our email provider keeps a record of your address so that you are not emailed again.

You can ask to see, correct or delete the details we hold about you by emailing society.skinau@gmail.com. When we receive a deletion request, we remove your entry from the founding list and delete our copies of the signup notification.

Some limited records may remain for a period afterwards: email delivery logs and backups kept by our service providers under their own retention schedules, and a record of your address used only to stop further emails. We will tell you if we are unable to remove something.
